KENTWOOD, Mich. — Around 9:40 p.m. Thursday, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 48th and Eastern in Kentwood.
The intersection was closed after the crash. Kentwood police said the pedestrian did pass away from their injuries at the scene.
13 ON YOUR SIDE was at the scene and at 11 p.m. police were putting up tape to close off the intersection. Kent County Central Dispatch says the intersection opened shortly after 12:30 a.m.
