GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Six people were seriously injured Thursday in a crash near the Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
Deputies say the crash happened around 8 p.m. near 44th Street and Patterson Avenue. A car with four teenage occupants was southbound on Patterson Avenue and turning into the airport when it collided with a northbound car.
The northbound car caught fire, police say.
All occupants—two adults and four teenagers—were taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
This crash remains under investigation.
