OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — A woman is in the hospital with serious injuries after she was hit by her own car on Thursday evening, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
The 50-year-old from Wayland's car broke down on 20th Avenue in Georgetown Township around 5 p.m. She then asked others to help her push it down the road. That's when she fell, and it rolled over her.
She was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. There was no one in the driver's seat, and there are no other reported injuries.
