GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Allegiant Air announced Tuesday two new direct routes from the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids.
The airline will offer direct flights to Portland International Airport (PDX) starting June 4.
Starting Aug. 4, there will be a limited route to South Dakota’s Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP) for the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
"As summer approaches, we expect a lot of pent-up demand for travel, especially for places where people can hike, fish, camp or visit the beach," said Drew Wells, Allegiant's senior vice president of revenue in a press release Tuesday. "With this expansion, we've added even more service to destinations known for their outdoor appeal."
The new flights will take off twice weekly. More information and flight booking can be found on Allegiant's website.
