GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Transportation officials announced Wednesday major changes to Grand Rapids in summer 2024.
Carshare operator company Mobility Development is establishing a program in the city that will have six electric vehicles available for public use upon its launch.
They're also installing more EV infrastructure in public parking lots, for carshare program use and for others.
Mobile GR is supporting and funding the outreach portion of the program, making sure those in need of transportation will have it.
They'll be partnering with Scales Consulting and Public Agency at WMCAT to educate Grand Rapids neighborhoods on the upcoming opportunity.
More details will come on the GR Transportation Facebook page.
