After several days of tracking, the latest winter storm will arrive Friday and affect Lower Michigan with heavy snow and high winds.

Timing and Track

The winter storm is forecast to move from northern Texas Thursday evening to northern Ohio Friday evening, so Lower Michigan will be on the colder, snowier side of this system. The snow is expected to arrive along the I-94 corridor around noon Friday, reach the I-96 corridor by 3 p.m. and continue north through the afternoon.
