GRAND RAPIDS, Mich —
Every Wednesday, we have a rundown of weekend events with the help of Grand Rapids Kids.
The 10th annual LaughFest kicks off Thursday, March 5. The 10-day, fun-filled festival draws around 50,000 people to venues all over West Michigan for everything from comedy shows, yoga, a World Record attempt, a musical and more! All the proceeds from the event benefit free cancer and grief support at Gilda's Club Grand Rapids.
Also starting Thursday, the West Michigan Home and Garden Show returns to DeVos Place for the 40th year. It starts at 3 p.m. and featured 14 gardens, 5 free seminar stages and more than 350 exhibitors with a variety of products and services.
On Friday, March 6, parents might want to call up a babysitter and head to the Downtown Market to enjoy food while sampling more than 75 wines from around the world. The Bottles & Bites: International Wine Event is happening from 5 to 9 p.m. The event is ages 21 and up and tickets cost $80. You can find more information on the Downtown Market's website.
