ALLEGAN, Mich. — A West Michigan man is facing a slew of sex crimes.
Casey Letts, 33, is accused of downloading and sharing large amounts of child porn via Telegram and Instagram.
That activity tipped off the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which then got the Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children task force and the Allegan County Sheriff's Office involved.
13 ON YOUR SIDE obtained the probable cause affidavit where investigators walk through all of the evidence against Letts.
Many details of these alleged crimes are too graphic and disturbing to share.
Investigators accuse him of sexually assaulting a woman while she was sleeping without her consent.
Letts is accused of exposing himself at his Pullman-area church and taking photos up a woman's dress. He's also accused of exposing himself at a Dollar General store in Hamilton and sharing that video with others online.
Investigators said Letts' sexual behavior appeared to be escalating, which included recording young women leaving stores and "stopping at random intersections to record females bending over in their yards."
All told, the prosecutor's office authorized 33 felony charges against him, including criminal sexual conduct, possessing/distributing child sexually abusive material, indecent exposure, recording an unclosed person and using a commit a crime.
Letts was arraigned on Sept. 10 in the 57th District Court in Allegan.
