GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Following a four-day trial last week, a Kent County jury convicted 35-year-old Vincentea Mansfield guilty of murder and other weapons charges.
Mansfield was found guilty of the murder of 43-year-old Edward Antoine Kennedy.
He was found shot on April 27. 2023 in the 400 block of Worden Street SE.
Law enforcement at the time responded and found Kennedy inside a home. Despite life-saving measures, he died from his gunshot wounds.
Mansfield will appear before a judge to learn his sentence on Nov. 13.
