GRAND HAVEN, Mich — A 6-year-old girl has been released from the hospital following a rollover crash in Grand Haven that injured three children and four adults.
Captain James Spark provided an update on the conditions of the children Thursday, telling 13 ON YOUR SIDE that two of the children have now been released from the hospital, while one remains.
The crash happened on US-31 near Fillmore Street around 2:50 p.m. on Feb. 4.
Police are saying the crash was related to some type of "road rage" with aggressive driving.
Deputies said a 9-year-old girl and a 10-year-old girl were ejected from the car and suffered life-threatening injuries. A 6-year-old girl suffered injuries as well, and was taken to a local hospital, deputies said.
The 9-year-old was released from the hospital on Feb. 5 and the 6-year-old has since been released as well. The 10-year-old remains in the hospital. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office says they don't have a condition update on the 10-year-old, but their condition was previously listed as "critical."
The four adults in the crash sustained only minor injuries.
The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office has not announced any charges against the drivers involved in the crash.
Any witnesses who may have seen the vehicles before the crash or have additional information for investigators are asked to call Ottawa County Central Dispatch at 1-800-249-0911 or Silent Observer at 877-88-SILENT.
