KENTWOOD, Mich. — A 33-year-old woman that was found dead following a fire at a Kentwood storage facility earlier this month has been identified.

Corinne Rose Ghastin, originally from the Ann Arbor area, was found dead in a storage unit, according to the Kentwood Police Department (KPD).

The cause of death still remains under investigation as the police department is still waiting on medical examiner's report.

The Kentwood Fire Department determined that the fire started in the storage unit where Ghastin was found, but they were unable to determine the cause of the fire.

KPD said this is an ongoing investigation and no further details are available at this time.

Ghastin was born in 1991 and was a graduate of the University of Michigan, according to her obituary on the Borek Jennings Funeral Homes website. It goes on to say she was a music lover who played piano, clarinet, guitar as well as sang.

She leaves behind "her parents, Bruce and Lauren Ghastin; siblings, Megan (Chris) Boyd, Daniel (Jeffrey) Nash Ghastin, Alicia (Elise) Ghastin-Fischer, Joseph Ghastin; maternal grandparents, Don and Carol Mordis; paternal grandparents, Jack and Carolyn Ghastin; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins," the obituary reads.

She will be laid to rest at Old St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ann Arbor on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 11 a.m.
