ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — The three surviving Allegan County family members of a fatal crash have been released from the hospital.

Chelsea Savage and her daughter Levi were released from the hospital on July 10 and are now staying with Chelsea's mother, an update from a GoFundMe campaign says.

Then on July 16, the final surviving family member, Parker, was released from the hospital into a rehab facility. The GoFundMe update reads that Parker will spend about two months in the rehab facility where his neurologist expects him to make significant progress.

An update on July 12 indicated that Parker was taken off a ventilator after regaining the ability to breathe on his own just a few days earlier.

Chelsea, Levi and Parker were involved in a crash on June 30 that killed two of their family members.

Husband and father, Danny Savage, died at the scene of the crash in Filmore Township at 136th Avenue and 58th Street.

Mason Savage, the eldest son, was critically injured in the crash and was on life support until July 6, when the family made the difficult decision to have him taken off life support and his organs donated.

An update on July 7 shares that at least four lives were saved from Mason's donations.

Family members have set up a GoFundMe to help cover medical expenses. As of July 18, the campaign has raised over $52,000 of its $250,000 goal.
