GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Car lovers, there's an ArtPrize exhibit you'll want to check out this year.
Michigan State University's Broad Art Museum has put its Z-Car prototype on display for the duration of the competition.
Z-Car is one of two completed car prototypes designed by architect Zaha Hadid. It's meant to be a car tailored to meet the needs of urban life.
The Z-Car is aerodynamic, with three wheels and a two-seat passenger pod that moves up and down based on the car's speed. The exterior is made with special carbon fiber-reinforced polymer typically used in the aerospace industry.
It's also engineered to be powered by hydrogen fuel cells or electric motors, making it emission-free.
You can check out the car at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.
ArtPrize takes place from September 13 to 28. You can find a full guide on our website here.
