GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Jamahal Hill will face Alex Pereira the current 205-pound champion at UFC 300 on April, 13, in Las Vegas.
Hill vacated his belt back in 20-23 after rupturing his Achilles tendon and was out for more than a year.
The announcement came from UFC president Dana White after UFC 298: Volkanovski vs Topuria.
His fight will be the main event of the fight card celebrating 300 pay-per-view events for the company.
The card includes some of the UFC's biggest stars, and the Grand Rapids native will close the massive night for the sport.
Hill, a Rogers High School grad and former Davenport basketball player, is also facing aggravated domestic violence charges for an alleged attack against his brother in Nov. 2023.
