MUSKEGON, Mich. — Business has blown up for two Muskegon middle schoolers who started raking leaves to raise money for football equipment.

13 ON YOUR SIDE first introduced Anthony Williams and Cyrus Conarty on Friday.

The brothers call themselves the 'Rake Monsters' and use a flyer promoting their services with the slogan, "We'll clean your yard better than we clean our rooms."

Since sharing their story, the boys and their mom said their phone has not stopped ringing with jobs. Their original goal was to rake 60 yards before snow started falling.

Conarty said Monday, "We have had over 100 calls, and we have made over $100 in the past few days, which is pretty fast."

He added, "I can't wait to get a new pair of cleats. I'm super close, and I feel like only one or two yards, and I'll be there."

A Grand Rapids landscaping business called Cool Guy Lawn Company also reached out to the boys after hearing their story and plans to give them two backpack leaf blowers. Their business was also started at a young age.

The boys said this was a game changer for their business.
