Man with Alzheimer's who went missing from Metro Cruise found

Wyoming Police say they have found 67-year-old Patrick Mateo who went missing over the weekend.

WYOMING, Mich. — UPDATE: The Wyoming Police said Tuesday they found 67-year-old Patrick Mateo, who was last seen near 28th Street and De Hoop Avenue SW attending the 28th Street Metro Cruise on Saturday.

Grandville Police got a call about a man lying in the grass near Wilson Avenue and Indian Mounds Drive. When they arrived, they realized that man was Mateo. 

He's now at the hospital getting medical treatment.

The Wyoming Police Department is asking the public for help finding an endangered missing man. 

Patrick Mateo, 67, has Alzheimer's and was last seen at the Wyoming Metro Cruise event around 2:30 p.m. Saturday. 

Mateo left the area on foot in an unknown direction. 

Police said he was last seen near the main stage area at Metro Cruise and hasn't been heard from since. 

Mateo is a Hispanic man with gray hair. He's approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and is described as "very skinny."

He was last seen wearing a black hat with a green golf logo, a gray sweater, blue jeans and sunglasses. 

Police are continuing to search for him.
