Below are the latest Election Day updates from 13 ON YOUR SIDE. You can find election results here to see how each party fared.
8 p.m. - The polls are closed for most of Michigan at 8 p.m. There are a handful of Upper Peninsula counties in Central Time. The polls there close at 9 p.m.
If you are in line by 8 p.m., you have the right to vote.
8:20 p.m. - The Associated Press has projected Donald Trump to win Indiana, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, and Florida.
The Associated Press has projected Kamala Harris to win Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, and Vermont.
8:38 p.m. - The AP projects Trump to win Arkansas, while Harris wins New Jersey, Delaware and Illinois.
9:01 p.m. - The Associated Press has projected Donald Trump to win North Dakota, South Dakota, Louisiana and Wyoming. AP Race Call: Donald Trump wins statewide vote in Nebraska and two electoral votes.
