How long are the lines to vote in Ottawa County? There's a website for that

If you want to plan out your trip to the polls, you can use Ottawa County's website that's tracking current reported wait times.

OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — In key swing state Michigan, voters are energized to help decide the next US President. 

Down-ballot races in Michigan include US Senate and Congressional seats.

Apart from voting absentee, registered voters can cast their ballots early in person. 

Ottawa County election workers are reporting wait times in lines to vote and sharing them online in this tracker. 

Early voting in Michigan is the result of a constitutional amendment passed by voters in November of 2022. The amendment mandates an early voting period leading up to elections.

That started on Oct. 26. 

The last day to vote early in person is Sunday, Nov. 3. In Ottawa County, Sunday's early voting hours are from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5. The polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
