HOLLAND, Mich — With Election Day rapidly approaching, Republican and Democratic presidential campaigns are continuing a focus on Michigan.
Republican vice presidential nominee and Ohio Senator JD Vance is set to campaign at a construction company in Holland on Tuesday.
Vance is expected to take the stage at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at HES Equipment. Doors open for the rally at 12:30 p.m.
Former President Donald Trump also rallied in Michigan twice over the weekend with a campaign rally late Friday night in Traverse City followed by another rally in Novi on Saturday afternoon.
The Democrats are also focusing on Michigan in the final days leading up to the election on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Vice President Kamala Harris was joined by former First Lady Michelle Obama in Kalamazoo at a rally at the Wings Event Center on Saturday.
The Democrats are also campaigning in Traverse City and Bay City Monday with rallies led by First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz.
With slightly more than a week to go until Election Day and early voting already underway in Michigan, the race remains tight in the state.
The latest Quinnipiac University poll from Michigan—published on Wednesday, Oct. 23—Harris holds a 3 point lead over trump in the state. Harris was listed at 49%, while Trump was at 46% and other candidates earned 2%.
