ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Minnesota Governor Tim Walz are continuing their focus on the battleground state of Michigan with a stop in Ann Arbor on Monday.
Monday's event comes just two days after Harris was joined by former First Lady Michelle Obama in Kalamazoo at a rally at the Wings Event Center.
The Democrats are also campaigning in Traverse City and Bay City Monday with rallies led by First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz.
Former President Donald Trump also made Michigan a top priority over the weekend with a campaign rally late Friday night in Traverse City followed by another rally in Novi on Saturday afternoon.
With slightly more than a week to go until Election Day and early voting already underway in Michigan, the race remains tight in the state.
The latest Quinnipiac University poll from Michigan—published on Wednesday, Oct. 23—Harris holds a 3 point lead over trump in the state. Harris was listed at 49%, while Trump was at 46% and other candidates earned 2%.
