VOTE | 13 On Your Sidelines MVP candidates for Week 2

Whose performance stood out among all the rest? It's up to you to decide!

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — High school football teams are hitting their stride now that week two is in the books. We saw plenty of players step up during their games this past week. Every week, we leave it up to our viewers to decide whose performance stood out among all the rest.

Here are the nominees for the 13 On Your Sidelines MVP of the Week:

Carson Vis - South Christian senior quarterback

Here's a guy who is no stranger to 13 On Your Sidelines. We've been calling his name in our highlights for years now, and Carson Vis is back at it during his senior campaign. Last Friday, his Sailors played in the 13 On Your Sidelines Game of the Week against East Grand Rapids. Vis threw for 333 yards and four touchdowns. He also led the team with 42 rush yards as the Sailors came from behind to beat EGR 42-28.

Isaac Lee - Byron Center senior receiver/defensive back

It's not too often that you get a guy making plays in all three phases of the game. But Isaac Lee did just that during Friday nights win against East Kentwood. On offense, he had three catches for 114 yards. On defense, he had an interception. On special teams, he returned a punt for a touchdown for the second-consecutive week. In total, the two-star recruit had three touchdowns as his Bulldogs beat East Kentwood 43-20.

Keaton Hendricks - Zeeland West senior runningback

Zeeland West is off to a 2-0 start and Keaton Hendricks has been a big part of what's made them so successful. During Friday night's 42-22 win over West Ottawa, Hendricks had 168 rushing yards on just eight carries. He also put the ball in the end zone on three separate occasions as the undefeated Dux rattled off another victory.
