Where and when to watch the Tigers postseason opener

The Detroit Tigers clinched the playoffs and will face the Houston Astros in Game 1 of a best-of-three series.

HOUSTON — The Tigers have a chance to keep the regular season momentum going Tuesday afternoon in Wild Card Game 1 against the Houston Astros.

Detroit last entered the postseason in 2014, and fans know this is a special playoff berth.

The first pitch is at 2:32 ET in Houston.

How to watch the Tigers in Game 1?

13 ON YOUR SIDE ABC brings you the game via ESPN on Channel 13 on television.

Streaming options include ESPN3 and ESPN Deportes, Fubo and MLB.TV.

What happens if the Tigers Win or Lose?

This Wildcard Series requires a team to win two wins out of three games.

If the Tigers or Astros win both games, they'll advance to the ALDS against the Cleveland Guardians. That game would begin on Saturday.

So, that means if the Astros and Tigers split the first two games, there will be a deciding Game 3, which would be on Thursday if needed.

Where to watch in person?
