Playing EA College Football 25 with the Western Michigan Broncos

The 13 On Your Side sports team put the Broncos to the test in the first college football video games in a decade.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — On Friday, EA Sports will release 'College Football 25,' the first college football video game in over a decade. This also marks the first college football video game where current players make an appearance.

All players in the game received their own copy along with $600. To celebrate the games release the 13 On Your Side sports team went to Kalamazoo to play the game with members of the Western Michigan football team.

Tight end Blake Bosma and kicker Palmer Domschke went head-to-head, both playing as the Broncos. "Not many people can say they are in a video game so that is pretty cool," said Domschke.

"It's pretty awesome to be in a video game that I played when I was younger," said Bosma.

Both players said it was an easy decision to 'opt it' to having themselves be in the game. "It was an easy decision that I even would have done for free," said Bosma. "It's awesome to see myself in the game and play with myself in the game,"

Domschke came out on top, 38-35 but now it's time for the Broncos to focus on the real season.

"It will be awesome just to finally get close to game time and I know everybody has been itching to put the pads on and it will be a really good season this year," said Domschke.

Western Michigan is set to begin its football season on the road at Wisconsin.
