GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Good news for West Michigan travelers -- there are three more nonstop flights being added to the docket.
Allegiant Air announces flights to Los Angeles, Boston and Austin would start later this year at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
Seasonal flights to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) will start in May and a flight to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will start in June.
Back in October, Allegiant picked up flights to New Orleans and Jacksonville. With these latest editions, the airline now has 14 nonstop flights out of the Ford Airport.
Last year, the Ford Airport and the Right Place came together to open an Allegiant Air base in Grand Rapids. The airline was set to add at least 66 new jobs and invest $42.8 million into expanded services.
To celebrate the new flights coming in May and June, the airline is offering one-way fares as low as $33. More information can be found on the Allegiant Air website.
