MUSKEGON, Michigan — New charges have been added against a man accused of crossing the center line and colliding head-on with a motorcyclist in November.

Dane Andrew Neino Sr., 52, was originally charged with two counts of driving with a suspended license and one count of negligent homicide using a vehicle after the Nov. 12 crash.

Now, Muskegon County Prosecutor DJ Hilson is adding another count: driving while under the influence. He says he was high on cocaine and methamphetamine at the time of the crash.

The crash claimed the life of 38-year-old Nathan Conrad.

Police say Neino was driving on Apple Avenue and Roberts Street in Muskegon when he crossed the center line and fatally collided with Conrad.

Conrad's wife told 13 ON YOUR SIDE he loved to ride his bike and was loved by everyone around him.

She says he was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, and he didn't deserve what happened to him.

A fundraiser has been set up to support the Conrad family.

Neino went to the hospital with minor injuries but has since been booked into the Muskegon County Jail. He's being held on an $11,500 bond.
