MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. — With a little more than a week left until election day, former President Bill Clinton is visiting West Michigan in a flurry of campaign events for the Democratic Party.
On Wednesday, the Harris campaign said he'll stop at a breakfast event in Muskegon Heights at 8:45 a.m., then stir volunteers at a canvass launch in South Haven at 12:30 p.m., and then talk with voters in Benton Harbor at 1:45 p.m.
The former president is encouraging Michiganders to get out to vote early for Vice President Harris and Gov. Tim Walz, as well as other Democrats up and down the ballot.
Republican vice presidential nominee and Ohio Senator JD Vance is set to campaign at a construction company in Holland on Tuesday.
Former President Donald Trump also rallied in Michigan twice over the weekend with a campaign rally late Friday night in Traverse City followed by another rally in Novi on Saturday afternoon.
The latest Quinnipiac University poll from Michigan—published on Wednesday, Oct. 23—shows Harris holding a 3-point lead over Trump in the state. Harris was listed at 49%, while Trump was at 46% and other candidates earned 2%.
